I don’t know. I can only assume I’m being made fun of, but whatevs.

You know what’s funny. One guy got on here and said “It seemed like I was grasping for criticism”

Doy fucking Hickey. I could give two shits about JJGo. They’re not funny, and I tore them up.

hahaha… it’s like capitalizing the name of the Lord in the bible. Naw… it wasn’t anything… his name just seemed to get lost in the text and wanted it to stand out as a name, that’s all.

And Moss, I appreciate you not escalating the beef. It’s so tempting to parse everything and get all contentious, and I commit that sin more than I’d like to. My best wishes for your UYD fulfillment.

just try giving it awhile to load up. stare at the quicktime icon for about a JO session’s worth.

just try giving it awhile to load up. stare at the quicktime icon for about a JO session’s worth.

or, you know, you could try right-clicking and downloading it to your desktop—which is the better solution anyway since youre going to want to jam to this often.

Welcome to The Forum Moss. Sorry if I got carried away. This thread was entertaining and when Jesse got on, well you know I had to do what I did. Just defending my turf.

I think everyone would agree this has been a healthy argument on a healthy forum.

everyone needs to quit their whining. it was a fresh episode. jah was up in their guts with some great humor/topics, and seth delivered when he “needed” to with great timing and jokes.

the other guys talked a bit much, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as people made it out to be. and it was obvious that the hosts “insults” to jah and seth were playful and totally not serious.

so glad JJGo had them on, hopefully get even more UYD support.

I learned about Uhh Yeah Dude from this show. I’ve gone through about 7 this week. Its a real good show. I usually listen to a little bit of JJGo and stay if I like the guest or if its more Jordan-centric. As someone who has listened to a lot of podcasts with Jesse on them and has respect for the man, I don’t think anyone was wrong in their negative assessments of him, except that I think the slacker and the dress things were meant as jokes. They may have come off as smug, but I don’t think they were malicious. There are plenty of things that make Jesse a good podcaster and he’s an advocate for lots of great stuff, but he indulges in some really unfortunate behavior on JJGo and I am surprised that he was defensive about it. It seems like this thread might be the first time anyone has made fun of some of his more insultable antics. I actually listened to UYD because I thought they were funny enough on JJGo and because I read the insults here. I wanted to see why the fans of a show would be so cocky about it. So maybe the hate wasn’t such a bad ambassador-ship.

Gawd, word life. I’m pretty stoked that someone wondered about it enough to look, made sense of it, and cared to relate it to their own feelings. Your warm caring insides will be gently caressed by UYD, just let go of yourself and let Seth and Jah take it from here.

I read through the “suggested listening” threads, picked out a half-dozen episodes, listened to 3 in full, the other 3 in part, and I have to say I’m just not getting it. I can understand why people like the show, but it’s apparently just not for me.
