You guys should think about moving from that server. I know MEVIO.COM hosts podcasts for free, and if you are popular they will promote you in their site. Take a look and see if you like it

I feel like such a douche. In a pissy, UYD-withdrawl rage, I unsubscribed my shit and deleted all my old eps…. the thinking here was that the Podcast Gods were irritated that I had so many eps in iTunes and that is why they would not let me d/l the new jawn. Of course, in hindsight, this is severly flawed logic. And I am super-bummed now.

So I was finally able to download 173, and what can I say, totally worth the 15 minutes of clicking GET like some kind of cheese-hungry lab-rat… but now all my old episodes are gone. I am so severely depressed. It’s like when I was 12 and my mom locked all my comic books and cassette tapes in her closet cuz I got caught with the weed. The universe is punishing me.

So what is the deal here, folks? No one has… like, an FTP site or some grass-roots shit where we can all slowly download some old episodes? Hadn’t we prepared for this emergency?

Keep us posted, friends. And those of you with the web-space and the time, keep this in mind, I would pay like a buck or two an episode, fer’realz. Jahnathan, Seth - y’all may wanna invest some thought into that shit… keep new eps free, but then have a library for old shit and special shit and charge a little bit for the effort and the bandwidth… probably make a dime or two.

Looks like our emotional onslaught to Hipcast may have worked. I’m downloading a grip of old episodes from itunes as I type this.

You listened to them in reverse order?  Weird.

i listened backwards too. not sure why though. doesn’t matter, it was still funny.

But, when they referenced stuff from the previous week wasn’t it weird?  I would think it would kill the mood.  Whatever works for you though.  Different strokes to move the world.

Came home last night, and my (our) UYD was there.  Thanks, nation!

not knowing the show very well, i realized that about 15-20 episodes in, which was around 130, and i decided to just keep going at that point.

i’m really OCD when it comes to some stuff, so i couldn’t listen to 130-150, and go back to 1 and listen up to 129… it would bother me…

jah, maybe start hosting the podcast with ARCHIVE.ORG ... shit’s fast, free, and always UP.
