The book’s really interesting. It’s well-written and heart-achingly honest.

But I was just reading this bit about his trip to Ethiopia:

“I flew from Addis to Bahir Dar. My taxi passed an Ethiopian cinema with slap-dash signs, hand-painted on a mud wall, for BRITNEY SPEARS CROSSROADS and ROB SCHNEIDER THE HOT CHICK.” [author’s emphasis]

There’s a litte UYD in everything.
