Right now we have the ability to embed videos from 3 different sites: YouTube, Vimeo and Funny or Die. In order to do this, follow the instructions below.

Note: You won’t be able to see your video to make sure its working if you preview your draft. So you will have to double-check your post after hitting Submit.

YouTube
Pretty simple. You’re going to copy and paste the id code immediately after the v= in the URL like this:

However, often times there will be a whole bunch of other nasty shit after this. No worries, this stuff always begins after the id with an &. All you have to do is look for the id between v= and the & like this:

Just highlight or double-click that id code, hit the youtube button on the “Post a New Topic” page and paste it into the box that pops up. You should be good to go.

Vimeo
Even easier than YouTube. You’re just looking for the id number after the last / like this:

Just highlight or double-click that id code, hit the vimeo button on the “Post a New Topic” page and paste it into the box that pops up.

Funny or Die
To embed video from Funny or Die, you need to look for the id number in the URL directly after /videos/, like this:

Just highlight or double-click that id code, hit the funny or die button on the “Post a New Topic” page and paste it into the box that pops up.

College Humor
This one is pretty easy as well. There is an id number directly after video: in the URL. See here:

Just copy that id code, hit the college humor button and paste it into the pop-up box.
