Just wondering if there’s any of my fellow Boston (or anywhere in Mass/N.H./Rhode Island for that matter) listeners out there who would love a “Brooklyn-style” live UYD out here. It would seem the ideal place to hold one,considering Seth has roots here. That and the fact that Boston/Cambridge has mad venues for such a show.

After the Brooklyn show, I had asked Jonathan if they planned to ever do a show in Boston, and he said that it was “on the short list”
soooo, here’s hoping.
They could defintely do something like Harpers Ferry or Great Scott, or even the Paradise, considering how HUGE the outcome was for the Brooklyn show.

Paying them might work. How about starting an account in UYD’s name for a specific venue. When the money is there, they’ll probably show. Or you could start some lame ass facebook group that has about 100 members, cuz that seems to work well.

It would be such a dope show. It’s actually a pretty good size venue for something like this. They’re also the most comedy friendly venue on the circuit—I’ve seen Eugene Mirman there a handful of times.
(Also, pardon the shameless plug, but my band’s playing there next Wednesday night if anyone is so inclined.)

Also, there are a lot of places which should have the willingness/ space to host a show of this scale. Great Scott, Middle East, All Asia, Church all come to mind but im sure theres a lot more.
When my friend booked the ME, he offered an open ended date for them. It was around the time of the Brooklyn show. they didn’t take him up on it.
Would be awesome to get them here. I would even be willing to go to haverhill if need be.
Yeah, I tried emailing Jah about a UYD Live or a Jogger show when I was booking the MidEast but he didn’t get back to me - figured he was a busy dude.
They definitely should get up in here though, maybe Seth could bust his yearbook out.
